MY MINIATURE CABINET
The Dining Room
This was the
first room I re-designed a few years ago. Inspired by Louis XIV and Rococo the paneling
was the most difficult part supervised by Chichi. Once again I used dolls house
furniture that I re-painted and re-upholstered. The Moet et Chandon is from
France as are the glasses on the table. There aren’t many handmade items in
this room except for the ‘Aubusson’ rug and place mats and the upholstery for
the chairs. Everything else was purchased at Miniature shows. The last photo is
what the room looked like before I changed the color scheme.

DeleteAlthough this is a very long and narrow room, you have managed to accommodate all of the necessary elements in such a practical and stylish way which will make dining in this room, a real Pleasure! :D

Thanks Elizabeth. I didn't have room for a dolls house and I had been making miniature room boxes so decided to just have a cabinet made. In hindsight I would have given it more depth as it is quite narrow.
